To apply for the IIT Dharwad Summer Internship Program 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (B.Tech, B.Sc, BS-MS) or postgraduate (M.Tech, M.Sc, PhD) program in science, engineering, mathematics, humanities, or allied fields from a recognized Indian university/institute.
  • A minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 65% in the last completed semester.
  • Available for a minimum of 1 month and a maximum of 2 months during the internship period at IIT Dharwad.

Internship Duration

The internship period is scheduled as follows:

  • Minimum Duration: 1 month
  • Maximum Duration: 2 months
  • Internship Dates: Between May 12, 2025 – July 15, 2025

Selection Process

The selection process consists of:

Stipend & Certification

  • Stipend: There is no provision for a stipend, travel allowance, or monetary support.
  • Certification: Interns who successfully complete the program and receive satisfactory performance feedback from their faculty mentor will be awarded an Internship Completion Certificate.

Accommodation & Facilities

  • Free hostel accommodation and meals will be provided for selected interns, subject to availability.
  • No additional costs such as electricity or water charges will be imposed on the interns.
