Aptiv Components India Private Ltd. is currently seeking an Intern to join their Software Engineering team. This role will be at the cutting edge of automotive technology, working to develop embedded software solutions that power next-generation vehicle systems. As an Intern SW Engineer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading experts while contributing to critical initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for automotive applications, emphasizing real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Implement automotive communication protocols and seamlessly integrate software modules with microcontroller architectures.
• Participate actively in the automotive product development process, adhering to industry standards like AUTOSAR and ASPICE.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality embedded software solutions.
• Lead software testing and debugging, ensuring robust performance through tools such as Vector CANalyzer and CANoe.
• Maintain and manage software requirements using tools like DOORS, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Document and report on software designs, test plans, and validation processes.
• Ensure compliance with automotive development processes, maintaining highest standards of software quality and safety throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Proficiency in embedded systems, RTOS, and familiarity with automotive communication protocols are essential. Experience with tools such as Git, JIRA, and Gerrit will be beneficial.
