Job Summary:
Goldman Sachs is hiring Software Engineering Associates for its Controllers Division in Bengaluru. This role involves designing and building software solutions to manage financial control and reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Engineers in this role develop high-performance systems that process financial data, monitor capital, and generate critical reports for business insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement end-to-end software solutions in an Agile environment
- Design and execute technical solutions for financial control and regulatory reporting
- Work closely with business teams to understand and respond to their requirements
- Develop and optimize financial data analysis tools and calculation engines
- Collaborate across divisions to leverage common solutions and drive efficiency
- Ensure high-quality software development through testing and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in Java, C/C++, Python, or Scala
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Experience with full-stack development, databases (RDBMS/NoSQL), and cloud technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
