About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer I (Data), you will design and develop impactful tech solutions while working in a collaborative and innovative environment. This role focuses on creating prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and production-ready code in Java and Python. You will also gain hands-on experience with modern technologies such as Spark, Scala/Pyspark, and cloud platforms.
What You Will Do
- Seamlessly convert designs into efficient and scalable code.
- Build prototypes and proofs-of-concept for iterative development.
- Work hands-on with Spark, Scala/Pyspark, and cloud platforms.
- Develop and manage data lake solutions.
- Mentor new engineers and develop strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner, incorporating feedback effectively.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and identify opportunities for implementation.
- Maintain content quality and ensure consistency with the brand.
What You Will Need
- Proficiency in coding with Java and Python.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, including space and time complexities.
- Practical experience in Spark, Scala, or Pyspark.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and data lake management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
