United Airlines is hiring Data Science Intern – 2026/2025 Batch

Job Overview:
Join the Analytics and Innovation (Ai) team at United Airlines and help shape innovative solutions to solve complex business problems. As an Analytics Intern, you will work closely with business and technology partners to translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations, contributing to impactful projects across various United Airlines departments.

Responsibilities:

• Execute data analysis, data mining, report generation, and statistical modeling to address business problems.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for United leadership and external stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate insights and findings to team members and project managers through clear and professional presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with database querying tools, including writing queries using Teradata SQL and/or Microsoft TSQL.
• Familiarity with reporting tools like Spotfire, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork.
• Ability to analyze complex data to identify patterns and relationships.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship.
• Reliable, punctual attendance.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or PySpark.
• A background or coursework in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Economics.

Technical Skills Required:
SQL, Teradata SQL, Microsoft TSQL, Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, PySpark, Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, Dashboard Development
