About the Role:
Join Salesforce as a Software Engineering Intern and work on impactful projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Collaborate with experienced developers and architects on solutions that drive our business forward. As part of the Business Technology Engineering team, you’ll contribute to meaningful projects, automated tests, and product enhancements while gaining real-world experience in cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects and senior developers on a project to present to stakeholders
  • Work on timely, relevant projects included in future software releases
  • Contribute to automated test suites and testing infrastructure
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on product code
  • Collaborate on product and feature design with developers, designers, and product managers

Basic Requirements:

  • Pursuing a B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or IT and in the penultimate year of study
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures
  • Proficiency in writing clear, efficient, and concise code
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic environment

Desired Skills:

  • Strong object-oriented programming skills
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and associated frameworks
  • Familiarity with HTML, web technologies, and front-end/back-end programming concepts
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and deliver quality solutions
  • Self-motivated and a quick learner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or academic experience in a professional coding environment
  • Experience with Salesforce application packaging and deployment
  • Familiarity with building complex applications using Java, C#, or C++
