Role Overview:
The Data Analyst role at Numerator focuses on ensuring data quality and resolving data integrity issues across products and platforms. You will investigate pressing data issues, identify root causes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct forensic data analysis to isolate root causes of data integrity issues.
  • Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, approachable manner.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to resolve bugs and address root causes creatively.
  • Coordinate with the panel science team to implement product-side fixes arising from data science designs.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams on complex data projects.
  • Develop tools and products to streamline forensic data analysis processes.
  • Present developed tools to stakeholders and transition ownership to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills; previous experience in this area is a plus.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Advanced SQL experience (2+ years), including Transactions, DDL, table self-joins, and multi-pass SQL.
  • Proven ability to work in teams, produce results independently, and solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle and product roles is preferred.
