About the Role:
Verizon’s Network Repair Bureau (NRB) is looking for driven and highly motivated Engineers to join our 24×7 support team. As an NRB Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting customer issues and network operations to ensure high availability and service levels. This role provides opportunities to learn new technologies, work on critical network events, and collaborate with senior engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network issues
  • Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network health, escalating issues when necessary
  • Support customer service centers and executive teams during major outages
  • Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting to priority changes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of experience in network troubleshooting, telecommunications, or customer service
  • Knowledge of LTE networks, 4G to 5G technologies
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Gmail, and scripting languages (Python, Node.js, Perl)
  • Ability to work 6 AM – 3 PM local time, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Networking (CCNA, CCNP) or Cloud technologies
  • Experience with Cloud and Virtualized Solutions (OpenStack, VMWare)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
