Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and reusable front-end components for complex web applications.
  • Implement intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience and accessibility.
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into high-quality UI solutions.
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in front-end technologies and incorporate best practices into development workflows.
  • Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and improve overall code quality to ensure robust and maintainable applications.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues related to browser compatibility, performance bottlenecks, and UI glitches.
  • Maintain and enhance our design system and UI component library to ensure consistency across applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
  • 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience with JavaScript, React.js, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and web technologies.
  • Experience with asynchronous programming, closures, ES6+, and functional components in React.
  • Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux, Recoil, or Context API.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL for efficient data handling.
  • Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for user interface design and usability.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to backend technologies like Node.js, Express.js, or Firebase.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud services.
  • Prior contributions to open-source projects or experience in hackathons.
