About the Internship:

This is a 12-week internship during summer 2025, where you will collaborate with a world-class team to build the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. You’ll work on highly complex, large-scale technical problems that bridge web-scale applications and blockchain technology.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to shape and execute Coinbase’s technical roadmap.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code that meets user and business needs.
• Solve unique, large-scale technical challenges to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone worldwide.
• Operate and optimize real-time applications with high-frequency, low-latency updates.
• Help manage and enhance secure, containerized infrastructure running in the cloud.

Requirements:

• Experience in any object-oriented programming language (gained through coursework, personal projects, or work).
• Passion for building user-centric experiences.
• Self-motivated and committed to personal growth.
• Positive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Ruby, or Rails.
• Experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
