About the Role:
Red Hat is looking for Software Engineering Trainees to join our team. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain hands-on technical experience while contributing to real-world projects in Red Hat products like RHEL, OpenShift, and more.

Red Hat’s Apprenticeship Program is a collaborative initiative between the Emerging Talent Team and trainee managers, providing opportunities for professional growth, networking, skill development, and meaningful work throughout your journey with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain code using Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
• Add new features, debug, and track issues in Red Hat products
• Collaborate with teams including Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Documentation
• Network with other talented interns in a diverse and inclusive workplace

What You Will Bring:

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English
• Basic knowledge and willingness to work with Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
• Passion for learning, problem-solving, and exploring new technologies
• Ability to work proactively and collaborate with a wider team
• Availability to commit to a 6-month program from June – December 2025
