About the Role:
Red Hat is looking for Software Engineering Trainees to join our team. You will work closely with a senior mentor to gain hands-on technical experience while contributing to real-world projects in Red Hat products like RHEL, OpenShift, and more.

Red Hat’s Apprenticeship Program is a collaborative initiative between the Emerging Talent Team and trainee managers, providing opportunities for professional growth, networking, skill development, and meaningful work throughout your journey with us.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain code using Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
Add new features, debug, and track issues in Red Hat products
Collaborate with teams including Quality Engineering, Product Management, and Documentation
Network with other talented interns in a diverse and inclusive workplace

What You Will Bring:

Working knowledge of written and spoken English
Basic knowledge and willingness to work with Python, Golang, or similar programming languages
Passion for learning, problem-solving, and exploring new technologies
Ability to work proactively and collaborate with a wider team
Availability to commit to a 6-month program from June – December 2025
